Couple therapy is different from individual therapy. Couple Therapy is more focused on the communication and relationship between the couple. The main goal is to improve or restore the communication between them as a relationship is only as strong as the communication between them. All else is secondary to it. It has been seen that by the time couples realise and come for therapy, they have already built up so many years of dissatisfaction, resentment, disgust and eventually loathing, that it becomes very difficult for the couple to sit with each other in the same room.
So, if you feel that there are quirks and bumps in your interaction because of which the relationship is being affected and you and your partner are unable to resolve in your respective minds and hearts, don’t keep shrugging them off!
